Discovered by guitarist Jeff Healey, Amanda Marshall has opened for both Healey and John Mellencamp. Critics touted her for her amazing voice and mature songwriting skills. Eventually, two songs on the album were performed by country singers LeAnn Rimes and Mila Mason.
